 Alter Varsity Hockey team wins the first Hignite Memorial Cup Tournament

On January 14th and 15th, 2012, Alter Varsity Hockey won all four games and won the first ever Hignite Memorial Cup Hockey Tournament.  The tournament is named after long time hockey coach, Joe Hignite.

Alter wins first game with a 3-2 win over Beavercreek. Tyler Pavelka races the length of the rink and makes a diving pass to Austin Collins. Austin Collins scores with just 4 seconds left in the game.  Click here to see the play.
