Do I have to belong to a specific Catholic Parish to qualify for the Parish tuition rate?
No. You may belong to any one of our area Catholic Parishes to qualify for a Parish tuition rate.
Can I pay tuition by check?
Yes. If you pay in full in June and select the invoice option in FACTS.
Can I make my June payment in full using a credit card?
No. At this time a credit card payment is not an option for the June full payment.
I have a student in an elementary school using a FACTS account. Can I use the same account for Alter?
No. You must sign up for an agreement through the portal available on Alter’s website.
I currently have a FACTS account with Alter but want to select a new payment plan. What do I do?
Log on to FACTS as a returning user and select the option to create a new payment plan. Once you have established your new agreement, notify the business office at email@example.com or (937) 428-5337 to request that your previous plan be terminated.
I currently have a FACTS account with Alter but want to pay using a different bank or credit card account. What do I do?
Log on to FACTS as a returning user and select the option to view an existing payment plan. You can change your bank account or credit card option on the Financial Account screen.
I currently have a FACTS account with Alter but have a new student enrolling. What do I do in FACTS?
The business office will update your FACTS account with your new student(s) from the registration paperwork.
I don’t remember my FACTS login. What do I do?

How do I request a change to my payment schedule?

Is tuition refundable?
If a student is in attendance for any part of a quarter, tuition is owed for the entire quarter. If a student withdraws from Alter, tuition will be refunded for quarters paid for which have not commenced. Fees are not prorated or refundable for students withdrawing from Alter.
My payment is late. What should I do?
If there are unforeseen circumstances that prevent making tuition payments on the due dates, please contact the business manager at (937) 428-5337 as soon as possible to avoid penalties and/or fees Communication is key. Students whose fees are in arrears may not receive schedules, begin classes, receive report cards or have access to RenWeb.
I have a tuition balance at the end of the school year. What does this mean?
Alter will not process any college applications or release transcripts for any student whose tuition is in arrears. Students with a tuition balance or outstanding fees/fines at the end of the school year will not receive report cards or transcripts, nor will they be allowed to return to Alter the following year. Seniors who have an outstanding balance at the end of the school year will not receive their caps and gowns, nor take part in the graduation ceremonies. Transcripts, diplomas, and report cards will be released when full payment has been made.
